$1750 with most issues sorted. Not too bad. Fire off your questions in the comments if you are curious.

How has that thing lived in canada and not rusted apart yet?
![]() 02/02/2016 at 19:48 |

Vigilant rustproofing and the milder climate of BC.

Long live the GMT400, hell of a good truck.

Aren’t they ever?

305 TBI or 350 TBI?
And please tell me you’re taking that topper off and selling it?
![]() 02/02/2016 at 19:51 |

305 TBI, and I’ll probably keep the topper for camping.

Guess you’ll have to become GMT400_Truck_Man though.

Gotcha. I have an irrational hatred for bed toppers, but if its for practical uses, that’s cool.
How many miles? Auto I assume?
![]() 02/02/2016 at 19:55 |

120k miles, and an automatic. It’s one of the few 4L60Es I’ve seen in this good condition.

Only eastern canada suffers from rust of doom tm.

That pic looks very familiar. Did you post it earlier in a NP/CP post? Somebody did.

I think I did.

Excitement. Are you going to come to any rallies this year? There is one in Meritt in september.
![]() 02/02/2016 at 20:03 |

Cool. Are you coming down for the Knox Mountain Hill Climb this spring?
![]() 02/02/2016 at 20:04 |
|
Uh. I had no idea about it until right this second? Maybe. I’ll be working in Edmonton and coming home to Prince George on weekends though, so I some what doubt it. But nonetheless please fill me in on details.

Hell, that’s pretty low miles for a C1500! Pretty solid buy at that price. And the 305 will obviously run for a great deal as long as you take decent care of it. Just don’t expect too much HP :)

It’s May 21-22. They race some insane stuff there.

I’m not planning on driving that fast anyways.

That’s a great looking truck! Do you have any plans for upgrades? If your camping are you going to build a floor and toss in some drawers or something?
![]() 02/02/2016 at 20:11 |
|
Lol. Just saying it for the hell of it. Otherwise that’ll be a bitchin truck.
![]() 02/02/2016 at 20:13 |

Thanks, man!
![]() 02/02/2016 at 20:16 |

Probably not. It’s already got MSD ignition, some headers, a flowmaster exhaust, a chip, monotube shocks, and some other goodies. I’ll probably just throw down an air mattress and call it a day when I go camping.
![]() 02/02/2016 at 20:20 |

Nice! That has some really great goodies. Post some pics of the trips you make with it!
![]() 02/02/2016 at 20:20 |

I sure will!

1995 model, IIRC? Looks good for its age!
![]() 02/02/2016 at 20:29 |

It’s got a few cosmetic blemishes (a small patch of peeling paint, an unglued seal on the cap), but otherwise, it’s good.

A chip?
Do they even make chips for old GMC trucks?
![]() 02/02/2016 at 22:45 |
|
Yup! There are plenty of reputable companies that offer chips for OBDI GMT400s.

I love lowered GMT400s, especially duallies. I rather like the GMC fascia too.

I really dig the clean nose on that gen GMC, makes me miss my 92 k1500 stepside
